This year's camp was very memorable and meaningful.
1. It was held at Pasir Panjang Christ Church, for the first time!
2. I was injured during kang le, for the first time!
3. I had fever and didn't feel well during the last two days of camp!
4. I took up more duties in the camp committee.
5. My group got the first in the camp, woah!
I've just written a report on camp, and helped to type for Lingjie and Yaolin, so I shan't elaborate too much once again!
Basically, this camp was a miracle. After changing to a new church, then we decided to hold the annual camp as usual. In a such a short notice, a few of us set down to work. It was a blessing to have many helpful people around me. After all the camp stuffs were prepared, we were almost ready for the camp!:)
On the night just before camp, I was super stressed! I was thinking, "Oh shucks, there are so many things for me to do, and tmrw is the camp already! Ah howhowhow!" But thank God, I managed to pack my bag and also get ready every single thing. Haha it was my first time packing for tuanqi camp! Cause last time, I didn't have to pack at all, I could just walk home and bathe and get whatever I want. This time round is different, I had to take a copy of the packing list and get ready a bag! But oh well, it was a fun experience, I was listening to Mama Mia! songs while packing, so super excited! :}
On the first day of the camp, met up with Cherie, Lingjie, Sunzhong, Weizhong and Yaolin, who fetched us to Pasir Panjang Christ Church! It was my first time there, and there was a wedding going on there. We had to take off our shoes to enter the place, and it seemed very dirty. I was thinking it would take a longlong time for us to clean up the whole place. But thank God, we split up the jobs and by lunch time, we were almost done! Hahaha it was quite an experience for me, as I have never cleaned the toilet bowl before! Went Holland Drive for lunch, then come back to move all the mattress into the rooms, and do a final QC check! :] After awhile, all the campers soon arrived, and gathered at the main hall. Lingjie, the camp master, started camp briefing and followed by Cherie, who went through all the camp songs! After that, the game masters a.k.a. Plastics, led us to play a few games, and we picked our own sheep for 'Sheep&Shepard' :) Chatted and played UNO during the free time, I didn't get to play Carom though. Dinnered and we went to our respective groups to have group time. As I was the group leader, I felt pretty nervous about leading, but thankfully with the help of Hui'En, Lingjie and Xubin Daoshi, everything went smoothly. Combined games with Leemin's group, but a tragedy happened! ): Shuting fell down and hit her specs. My mood immediately went down, but thank God she was alright! :} After group time, it was Da Jia Le, where the Plastics would lead us to play a few games and bond us together! Haha we played manymany fun games, and my favourite was the 'Cow, Koala Bear & Elephant'! :D It was very exciting, and I was the only girl left in the game! Oh yah, I wore the Twinnies shirt with Wing! :) Hee, after night prayer, a few of us, the leaders, gathered and had a short meeting. After that, met up with Cherie at the stairs and we chatted until the lights went out! :O
Woke up at 5plus to bathe, and met up with Cherie on the stairs yet again! :) We wrote letters to our sheep, then I had my quiet time. After morning prayer, we had quiet time together in our batch, and it was a nice sharing time together. Morning exercise was fun! Played the fishing net game, and another tragedy happened!); Lingshan fell down, and had several injuries on her hands and knees. I was totally moody, as Shuting and Lingshan were from my group! She kept crying, and I felt so useless as I couldn't comfort her. Thankfully, Renling laoshi helped out, and soon Lingshan was back to herself again! :) The first sermon was wonderful, I really like Chen Mushi's preaching! Learnt quite a lot and took down notes. He was very interactive, and I thought it was good, as everyone, from 8 year old to adults, all were paying good attention!:] Had some time to share what we've learnt in our batch once again, and I felt spiritual, thank God! :D Lunched, and played Uno with some people during free time. The game masters were great, and the games they planned for very interesting. We had a good bonding time within our groups, and showed team spirit! Haha the presentation of my group's bridge was hilarious! Hahaha we planned to say many things about it, meant to be exaggerating! :) Wing's group was creative, they used a lot of glue! Walked to the Multi-Purpose Hall with Cherie, and talked about quite a lot of stuffs during free time! After dinner, it was the second sermon, and I felt that it was great! Some of the stories he shared were meaningful, and I learnt quite a lot! After sharing, we had night prayer. Talked a lot to Lingjie during supper, ahh I don't want him to leave tuanqi! ): Oh well! Went to sister's room with Cherie, and we went super crazy together with my sis and Xinhang! Hahaha around oneplus, I was too tired and went back to rest! :>
Woke up around 6 in the morning, so much for saying I wanted to run with Cherie and Lingjie in the morning! Hahaha had quiet time with Cherie, and then went for morning prayer. Quiet time with my batch was interesting, and I really like Randy's way of teaching! Haha learnt some through sharing, and chatted with Randy all the way till breakfast. It was a good sharing with him, and although there were tears and anger, I felt better! :D After breakfast, it was our last sermon already! Took some notes, and I felt a strong urge to be a good christian to let God use me! I really hope I can be a better christian and be a good 器皿 for God! :D Took photos, and Chen Mushi told me I had the same english surname as him! Hahaha, had some funny actions together with Wing and Cherie during the informal shots! :b Had sharing, lunch, and free time before the water games! Played UNO once again, and slacked around. Then everyone proceeded down for water games, after each group completed their flags! Heehee, the first game was dirty, but compared to last year's, it was much cleaner and I liked it more! Hahaha we had to pass shaving cream using our faces, and everyone looked funny! :) Took group photos and then we went to fill our water bombs. Played the war game, and at the last round, I was injured! D: Apparently someone wanted to aim me, and the waterbomb burst on my face! I was stunned in the beginning, and started crying cause it was so pain that the whole left side of my face turned red! ): Thankfully with the help of Shijie and Cassandra, they used some cold water pack to put on my face, and became numb. Thanks Wing for comforting me, really appreciated it! :D They continued the last game, and went upstairs to bathe and have free time. Weizhong then passed me an icepack to put on my face, and it was shiok! Hahaha I felt a teeny weeny bit better, and Cherie had difficulties trying to open my left eye! Hahaha it was very painful, but I appreciated your help, Cherie! :D After bathing, went for dinner, and we had group time again. Played '给我Tempo, Ready, Go!' and I really like that game! Felt super high lah, then I could feel that my group was more 'opened' already, and more familiar with one another! :) Started discussing about what we were going to act during Qunyinghui, and Lingjie was such a fantastic help! If it weren't for him, I would have died. Hahaha, he helped me with the whole skit, and thank God, although we had only two rehearsals, all the group members were very helpful! :) Then Qunyinghui started, and the first was Cherie's group! Hahaha theirs were really creative to use an advertisment to show how we should be 圣洁 in our lives! :D Then it was my group, and thank God everyone knew their parts well! We acted David Livingstone's life story, and I think everyone liked the attacking part! :D Following that, it was Leemin's group, and they were super cute! Hahaha super interesting, and entertaining! Zhumama :D Lastly, it was the daoshi's turn to act! They acted out Esther's story, and we all had fun laughing along! :D Felt super giddy then, and had panadol. Chatted with Cherie, Lingjie, Sunzhong and Xubin Daoshi during the special chadian! Rested for awhile, and then we had Jianzhengfenxiang! Shared what we've learnt throughout the camp, and Yuxuan was surprised when she found out I was her muzhe! Hahaha I was super happy that my muzhe, Chen'En, gave me a banana, yay! :) After that, we had our midnight activities! Mwaha, my group members with Alex and Cherie! All of us slowly proceeded to the Multi-storey carpark, and it was super scary! I screamed when Ryan scared me lah. Hmph. Hah we settled down on the first level, while Agnes and Yukai briefed us on the games. Then it was my group's turn to go up the stairs. And I was seriously freaked out! It was pitch-dark and there were crying sounds and screaming sounds! ): Hahaha finally reached the top floor, and rested for the others who have completed. Leemin started singing songs, and I felt a teeny bit better! Then suddenly, I had a super bad headache, while we were going to the second game. Managed to stand up, and then walked around. We were supposed to walk around and play 'scissors paper stone' with the other groups. And if we win, we get to take their balloons or burst it. Otherwise, we were suposed to give our balloons to the opposite team! Had to complete tasks if we had no more balloons! It was quite fun lah, and I enjoyed myself with Alex and Cherie! :) Went back to our campsite and I was completely weak. Finally Xinhang brought me back to my room, and I rested all the way till the next day! C:
Woke up at around sevenplus, then had quiet time at the balcony. Had morning prayer, and then Mom realised I had a fever! I was super shocked, as it has been a seriously long time since I had a fever! Quickly told seniors that I couldn't make it for the bbq): Had quiet time with my batch for the last time, I'll miss Randy! D: Had breakfast, and thanks Cherie for taking care of me! :) Everyone started cleaning up, and I could only stay at the balcony to collect tags. Oh well, it was closing ceromony! We gave out the souvenirs and also the prizes for each group! Ahhhhh my group won, I was so happy, but too weak to jump around already. I really thank God, although my group has the most new people and young kids, I still managed to work with Hui'En with Lingjie, and my group got first! Thank God! :D Had lunch, and shared with Cherie, too full already! Everyone took their bags and started to leave. Felt super emotional and started crying. Rawh, I seem to be super emotional each time after camp! ): Hugged Wing and Cherie, and it was a super sad feeling to see them walk slowly down the slope and disappear in sight.. Went home with Daddy and Mom, and I went to sleep. There was thunder, so I woke up after awhile. Talked to Cherie for awhile, and I started crying again. Rested for awhile more, then woke up. Started unpacking some stuffs, and talked to mom for awhile. Went Pandan for dinner, then homed. Being alone at home, and being sick, is not a good feeling): Chatted and talked on the phone. Cried once again, super emotionally charged! D: Finally decided to go to sleep. Woke up after awhile, cause I was super scared again idk why! Smsed with Lingjie for awhile, then Daddy and Mom came home at oneplus. :]
Woke up near twelve, and went for lunch at Pandan. Decided to go to Happy Camp with Mom, and type my camp report there! Hahaha reached there, then started work! Typed Yaolin's in then continued with mine. Couldn't concentrate already, so I helped to take photographs for them while they had water games! Hahaha I really love the camera, I WANT A CAMERA): Went back to do my report, and I finally completed it! Hahaha took the camera and started taking photos around! :) Finally Lingjie was done with his report, it was 6plus already! Hahaha went for bbq, and took photographs! Yay I took many artistic photographs, hahaha Randy got pose one photo for me also! :) Went upstairs for their Qunyinghui, and I videoed it down! After their night prayer, I went to play the piano, and also tried out the guitar! :D It was 10plus already then, then Mom told me that Daddy couldn't come and fetch me. So I had to go home myself): Bus came first, so I took 143 back home. It was a nice quiet ride, but I started feeling emotional again.. Reached home, etcetc, and finally fell alseep. Woke up at eight, I thought there was school! Grr, went all the way to school, and then realised that there was no school in the end! They cancelled it but no one informed me): Ohwell, my headache was supersuper bad, and it seemed like a long walk back home ): Reached home, rested for awhile, then went to Pandan to meet Leemin for lunch. Halfway through, there was a heavy rain! We went to provision shop to buy chocolates, but there were no hersheys, so Leemin bought some chocolate sticks, that cost one dollar, and also a few scratches from her phone! Hahaha we finally reached back church, abit wet only thank God, but our slippers were wet! Went to the toilet to clean up, and we learnt our lessons! Hee, went to take bus to Jurong Point, and a tragedy happened D: Shan't elaborate much, but thank God tuanqi has so many nice people! I really appreaciated everyone's help! Thanks Cherie, Aloysius, Leemin, Ryan and Mom! :) Reached Chen'En + Chenru's house, and we played several games. After that, we went to Qianqian's house! Hahaha she's super adorable, and we played two games again! :) Hahaha had fun chatting while having our dinner, then went back church. Took bus home, cleaned up the 'tragedy' and called Cherie on the phone. Watched tv while chatting, it was quite an unusual night. In all, the whole day was a big mess, and I wished it never happened :O
Woke up at eleven today, then went for lunch with Mom. Came home, and currently posting! :) Shall leave for church soon, there's care group meeting laterrrrr.
